One City Center Office Building

Located in the heart of Atlanta’s financial district on Peachtree Road, the Charles Schwab headquarters building at One City Center is a modern, aluminum-clad icon distinct from the many glass high-rises nearby. In the creation of the two-story, 9,187 square foot structure, Wakefield Beasley was tasked with creating a striking design on a challenging corner site. Oddly shaped property lines and limited material laydown space gave the design team a chance to craft a custom solution that would meet Charles Schwab’s organizational needs while being accessible and welcoming to the firm’s many clients. Wakefield Beasley chose unique material finishes and was closely involved in the project throughout construction to bring the geometric masterpiece to life.
