Jennifer Bala Dzenis

Director of Orlando Studio

Jennifer “Jeni” Bala Dzenis knows that to be successful in the challenging field of architecture, designers must be confident, mentally strong and highly adaptable. And those are traits she sees in herself and values in the talented members of her team in Orlando.

Jeni’s design experience is vast and varied. In her career, she has created tangible user experiences outside of the realm of the imagination through her work on Tokyo DisneySea, the Dubai Festival City and the ongoing projects at The Battery Atlanta at Suntrust Park and the Georgia Zoo and Safari Park. Through her work on Tokyo DisneySea and the Dubai Festival City, Jeni has developed unwaveringly high expectations for quality and execution that she infuses into every project at Wakefield Beasley. With unique time and budget constraints, each of these projects has positioned Jeni to tackle the demanding, multi-faceted nature of design work – her very motivation for pursuing a career in architecture in the first place.

Jeni recognizes that while some projects may have similarities, every client is unique. She keeps that in mind for every project, where she serves as an advocate for the client’s best interests and leads her diverse group of designers to achieve consistently successful results.

To Jeni, inspiration comes from a wide range of unexpected places. It comes from seeing others comfortable in their own environments and enjoying themselves in their daily lives. She is inspired by other passionate individuals who put their all into whatever it is they care about most. That pride in one’s chosen path – whether it is architecture, dancing, art or professional athletics – is mesmerizing and motivating for Jeni.

Jeni and the clients of the Wakefield Beasley Orlando Studio share a common passion: to be world-class in their respective industries. From the mixed-use development being constructed in tandem with the new Atlanta Braves Stadium to a design that serves to dazzle children of all ages, Jeni wants them all to shine. And she wants her clients and her team to have fun while doing it. She loves seeing people enjoy themselves when they visit a completed project and delights in contributing to a positive guest experience.
